QUEEN CITY'S CURSED CORPSE FINGER
Legend tells of a story many, many years ago of an old sea merchant who retired from life on the seas to live here in Staunton. Over the years
and his travels at sea, the old merchant had obtained a corpse's finger that many pirates and sailors believed a good luck charm that could bring wealth and fame. And while the merchant did obtain riches and wealth while in possession of
the finger, it also came at a very steep price.
Family members died unexpectedly, tragically. The merchant himself would deal with illness and disease.
Townsfolk called it the Cursed Finger, some embraced it for its wealth and fame, others shunned it for its death and disaster. The merchant eventually died,
the finger never found or recovered. Locals here say the merchant was a man who believed in fate and so he hid the finger here in
town for someone to stumble upon. Fate as you would have it! Can you find the finger? Find it and trade it in for your reward..
